Next time you need something to hold you over, something with a bit of bite to it, try this Spicy Roasted Chickpea recipe. It has just enough kick to keep you satisfied plus, it’s guilt-free! What You’ll Need:
- Two 15 oz cans of chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) drained and rinsed
- 2 Teaspoons of olive oil
- 1 Teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 Teaspoon chili powder
- ½ Teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- Place all ingredients together in a large bowl and toss until evenly coated. Lay chickpeas evenly on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Cook at 400°F until crisp (approximately 30 to 40 minutes)
- Let cool and enjoy!
