Yummy Spicy Roasted Chickpea Recipe

In the mood for a crunchy snack? Chips and processed snack foods are too salty, too processed and too unhealthy. Next time you need something to hold you over, something with a bit of bite to it, try this Spicy Roasted Chickpea recipe. It has just enough kick to keep you satisfied plus, it’s guilt-free! Can’t beat that!

What You’ll Need:

  • Two 15 oz cans of chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) drained and rinsed
  • 2 Teaspoons of olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ Teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt


  • Place all ingredients together in a large bowl and toss until evenly coated. Lay chickpeas evenly on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Cook at 400°F until crisp (approximately 30 to 40 minutes)
  • Let cool and enjoy!
